I first met Rosie Chiaverini last year when she came over here for her summer holiday. Prior to that we had simply corresponded off and on, she telling me her travel stories around France as a single woman since 1997, and I sharing my passion about the French Riviera. When we finally did meet up here at the offices of AMB Cote d'Azur, I managed to persuade her to write down her travel episodes to share with other AMB readers who might feel a little hesistant about travelling to a foreign country on their own.
