Welcome to a brand new feature on AMB Cote d'Azur; Restaurant of the Month. While it may seem that we spend all our time in front of our computers, we have been known to leave them and actually go out to a restaurant from time to time.

And it was when out dining at one of our favourite places that the idea came to us to share our discoveries on the website. As you can imagine, there is an absolutely astounding variety of restaurants all along the French Riviera, from the humble bistrot serving a mixed salad or panini to the ultra lavish gastronomic experience. And in between there is a wonderful assortment of restaurants that cater for all budgets and tastes.

The French take their food very seriously; freshness and quality are paramount, but so too are preparation, attention to detail and personal service. For us, dining out on the French Riviera is always special. This is our moment to relax and spend a leisurely couple of hours enjoying a tasty meal - whether it's a simple stone-oven cooked pizza or the majestic culinery delights of haute-cuisine.
