A BIG PLUS FOR BUYERS ON THE COTE D’AZUR

21 April, 2008 - for immediate use

A new English run estate agency has opened on the French Riviera catering for the needs of buyers and owners in the region east of Nice to the border with Italy.

A+ Properties in Menton has been established by Tracy Egan, from Lincolnshire who has lived on the Riviera for 12 years and has extensive knowledge of real estate in the region.

“I want to offer my clients the sort of extensive and flexible service that I would have wanted when I bought my first home here.” She says, “The business has been structured to help people find the property that is right for them, whether that is a cheerful holiday apartment to a luxurious villa residence.

The French Riviera is as varied as it is beautiful; the glamorous hot spots, medieval mountain villages, lush gardens and famous beaches are irresistible attractions. It is no surprise that so many people should want their own place on the famous Cote d’Azur.  However, buying a property brings the responsibility of managing it and dealing with the notoriously bureaucratic French administration.

Tracy Egan again: “To ensure that owning your property remains a pleasure and not a burden, we offer a flexible after sales and property management service. We will be happy to look after the many and various aspects of managing your property; for example key-holding, attending management meetings, organising cleaners, responding to official correspondence and paying the utility bills.”

A+ Properties was officially opened during the annual Lemon festival in the traditional Riviera town of Menton. Nestled against the Italian border, the town of Menton provides a glimpse of the French Riviera in its roaring heyday. Famed as the sunniest location in mainland Riviera, Menton has long been a popular destination for British holiday makers. Queen Victoria and Winston Churchill were regular visitors.
