We catch up with Marc Wolff, ace stunt helicopter pilot in-between film stunts. Marc has done amazing footage for James Bond films as well as Black Hawk Down, Cliffhanger, Harry Potter and Bridget Jones's Diary to mention just a few. After the bright lights of the Cannes Film Festival begin to fade, Nigel and I take advantage of a quiet moment away from the office to explore the Iles de Lerins. Just a stone's throw from La Croisette (well almost), we travel first to Ile St Marguerite and then its smaller twin, Ile St Honorat.
I also manage to find time to return to Old Nice and rediscover its charm and history plus taking a guided tour of Nice Opera.
Meanwhile, Martin Hills stays firmly on "terra firma" and goes off to explore the beautiful town of Avignon while Olivier Hickman returns to our pages with some offerings of delicious terroir wines. Reverend Anne Naylor again offers both inspiration and advice through another one of her thought-provoking articles. Naturally, between now and then we'll have some extra surprises for you. So if you've enjoyed reading AMB so far - why not return in June and read some more of our adventures on the French Riviera and around the South of France? |
