Here's another good blog that I'd come across before but had mislaid their url until today. This one is called French for a While, and it's written by an American who left Washington, DC, with their family of 5, to spend a few years in the South of France. It's a lovely, easy-going blog peppered with their thoughts and observations about their new country - along with an occasional faux pas and some subtle swipes as the French.
Here's my list so far:
Tom Cupples' Riviera Blog
Tom Cupples who now lives in the exceedingly charming village of Tourrettes-sur-Loup having retired from corporate life in August 2007.
Jon Doust's Blog
Jon Doust who runs a holiday business in rural France since 2003 and is a contributor to the Expat Telegraph.
Visit France!
Blog set up by Justin Postlewaite, the editor of French Magazine and The Traveller in France. In this blog he waffles semi-literately about travel and holidays, food, wine and anything else that appears to tickle his French fancy. It's a nicely presented blog which I'm sure will find many adepts.
Charles Bremmer - Timesonline
Charles Bremmer is the Paris Correspondent for The Times and has previously reported from New York and Brussels. His blog gives a fascinating insight into the political and economical issues about France.
The French Corner
The French Corner was started in November 2003 and is a blog and learning resource for French students and enthusiasts of all ages and levels, run by an aspiring French teacher and longtime Francophile! Content ranges from vocabulary and grammar to interesting facts about the country, its people, and its culture.
Life at La Bastiole Blogspot
Nice little occasional journal about living in the South of France. It's very well written and fun to read - and no, it's not my blog!
C'mon guys, let me know of any others!
