Anne Ager’s broad ‘umbrella’ knowledge of the food industry, and of developing food tastes and trends in the marketplace, has proved to be invaluable to a wide variety of food and drink-orientated clients. A professional consultant who can always be relied on for innovation, inspiration, an insatiable enthusiasm and a focused attention to detail.
Anne has advised on advertising and public relations campaigns for producers such as Lea & Perrins, Outspan, Daregal and Bird’s Eye ; spearheaded new product development ideas for companies such as Heinz, Fleury Michon and Mark’s & Spencer; and she has taken an active role in the publicity and marketing of products and product literature for such well known names as Yoplait, Boursin, St. Ivel, Chartreuse and Taittinger.
Her passion for France, and everything French, has lead to her offering clients a perfect entente cordiale role ; acting as a liaison between French and UK food journalists ; assisting Sopexa with their publicity of French foods in the UK, and, similarly, advising Food From Britain on their publicity of British foods within France. In fact she has created a two-way food bridge across the Channel for food and drink clients.
Her travel experiences, although often food-orientated, have also made her an accomplished travel and hospitality journalist. The cookery books that Anne has written now number more than 20, and there are two more future titles ‘up her culinary sleeve’.
