Our mission is to help your business be more successful by providing high quality, personalised business support services. Founded in 2005, by Karen Marsh, the virtual business assistant team offers a broad scope of professional services to large multi-nationals organisations who have local offices in business centers around the region. By offering a flexible approach to the services they offer and the hours they work, it enbles a win win situation for both them and the client. "Virtual Business Assistants" provide professional services to businesses to help them manage their projects, workload and administration, as and when required. It's for busy businesses who are looking for professional assistance, without the constraints of a full-time employee. Just like our clients, we are entrepreneurs and we understand the pressures small businesses may be under. We have extensive experience, knowledge and organizational skills to improve our client's efficiency, productivity and thus their profits. We are experienced at working 'virtually' and our clients avoid the overhead costs of office space, full time staff, etc. We execute our client's business service requests from our own offices or from the client's office as required. Charges are by the hour or by project and are agreed up front with our clients, thus giving them the flexibility they need. We can work in English and French.

Sarah's Midnight Anthology

A year ago I introduced readers of this website to an old friend, Sarah Nock, who had written an insightful  –  and surprisingly funny  –  account of what it is like to suffer from Parkinson’s disease.  (My review of Ponderings on Parkinson’s is still on-site.)  Now she has published another book of a quite different kind: an anthology of verse, but one with a difference.
